Ugly Drum SmokerAn Ugly Drum Smoker is typically made from a 55 gallon metal drum.

Holes are drilled near the base to control air flow.

A charcoal basket sits in the bottom of the barrel as the heat source source.

Bolts are put in the sides to hold a cooking rack or two.

The lid is either the drum lid or often a lid from a kettle grill.
